Dear Pianists, Students and Professors,


I would like to mention that in-person edition of Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford was moved to March 2022 and will happen as XIII Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, CT. Rules, jury and other matters remain the same.

On behalf of Connecticut Chopin Foundation I would like to notify that instead we will organize “2021 Special Online edition “ of XII Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, CT evaluated by received recordings. Virtual Winners Concert will take place online on March 21, 2021.

Application deadline is February 15, 2021. All details you can find at www.chopincompetition.org.

There are wonderful prizes and awards. There will be  prizes over 10,000 USD (5,000 USD in cash prizes and invitations to perform in Poland and USA including masterclasses with the performance with orchestra in  2022).

Chopin International Piano Competition is a world-class event with the history of wonderful laureates as: Umi Garrett, Harmony Zhu, Sun-A Park, JJ Bui, Anfisa Bobylova, Andrew Gu, Ivan Gusev and many others. Six laureates of our competition were selected to take part at prestigious Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2021.
