Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski hosted a prestigious musical event in his Polish hometown- Tarnow. He was an artistic director and lecturer of masterclass during: Ambassador of Tarnow, Maestro Krystian Tkaczewski and his guests International Festival and Masterclass. He was be joined by world class international faculty: Prof. Philippe Raskin from Belgium, Prof. Vovka Ashkenazy, Russia/Iceland, Prof. Hironao Suzuki, Japan and and Prof. Masahi Katayama from Japan. We had participants from: Japan, Germany, China, Peru, Russia, Sweden, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Poland and USA: including award pianists: Tomoya Nakase, Japan, Igor Andreev, Russia, Laetitia Hahn, Germany and Yuy Hsiang, USA
III Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition in Busko-Zdroj
July 31- August 3, 2018
Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski was an artistic director and president of international jury at I Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition in Busko-Zdroj, July 26-29.The competition consisted of of four age categories, up 13, 16, 19 and professional no age limit category. International Jury included famous pianists and professors: Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski, President, Hironao Suzuki, Japan, Yuri Bogdanov, Russia, Vovka Ashkenazy, Iceland/Russia, Graham Scott, UK, Myrthala Salazar, Mexico. The competition turned out to be a great success with participation of 42 pianists from 14 countires. Among winners were: Hinako Inoue, Japan, Chenxing Huang, China, His-Yun Wu, Taiwan, Tomoya Nakase, Japan, Miki Hasegawa, Japan, Katherine Liu, USA,Maxine Park, USA

International Masterclass at Kurozweki Castle
Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski was a lecturer at International Festival and Masterclass in Castle Kurozweki, July 1-15 There were pianists from such countries as: USA, Japan, China, Canada,Singapore and Iceland including awarded pianists: Sophia Liu, Catherine Ma and Edwina Sun. Additionally Dr. Tkaczewski performed a concert, which was a part of Chopin Festival in Kurozweki. He was hosting other festival concerts on July 1,8 and 15.

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski was an artistic director and president of jury I Krogulski International Piano Competition. In judging panel served: Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski, Oxana Yablonskaya, USA/Israel, Einar Steen- Noekleberg, Norway, Alexis Soriano, Spain and Jan Popis, Poland. Among winners were: Robert Maciejowski, Poland, Nikodem Wojciechowski, Poland, Andrea Tamburelli, Italy, Wiktor Kolodziejczyk, Poland, Shiwen Yang, China, Edwina Sun, USA and Alicja Kojder, Poland.

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski was a president of jury an artistic director of III Paderewski International Piano Competition in Farmongton, CT. He was joined by other judge: Dr. Hendry Wijaya from Indonesia. The competition tool place at St. James Episcopal Church in Farmington, CT May 4-6, 2018. Among winners were His-Yun Wu, Taiwan, Maxine Park, USA, Roxane Park, USA, Xiaomin Ou, China and Hokyong Choi, Korea.
Chopin Competition Hartford

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski was an artistic director and a president of jury of IX Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford,CT.
IX Chopin International Piano Competition was held in Asylum Hill Congregational Church in Hartford, CT. With 93 applications, the competition turned out as a great success. There were pianists comping from such countries as: USA, Russia, Australia, Italy, Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong and others. Jury comprised with eminent musicians: dr. Krystian Tkaczewski, president from Poland, Choi Sown Le from Hong Kong, Olga Kern form Russia, Eteri Andjaparidze from Georgia, Philippe Raskin form Belgium and Jan Popis from Poland. The level was astonishing in all competition categories. In junior category the Grand Prix was awarded to Anwen Deng from Australia, Jury decided to award first prizes to Sophia Liu from China and Kasper Yoder. In Young Artist category the laureates were: I prize- Lucia Li from Australia, II to Huy Dang from Canada III prize to Sophia Liu from China and Heiting Xia from China and Katherine Liu form USA. In professional category the first was awarded to Yang Liu, China, second prize to Ivan Gusev, Russia and third prize to Han Wang from China.

Dr. Tkaczewski was a judge of Parnassos Piano Competition in Monterrey, Mexico.

II Future Stars International Piano Competition
The online competition has included 53 pianists from 22 countries. Among others were: Evgeny Konnov, Russia, Ivan Gusev, Russia, Luigi Borzillo, Italy. Judges were Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski, Hendry Wijaya, Indonesia and Toshiki Usui, Japan.
Tour in Japan December 2016
Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski had his Japanese Tour. He has presented masterclasses in Osaka, Tokyo and Hamamatsu. He has also a presented a recital in Tako Municipal Hall.
Princess Lalla Meryem International Piano Competition in Rabat, Morocco

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski will again join the judging panel of Princess Lalla Meryem International Piano Competition in Rabat, Morocco, November 18-24, 2016. He will join international faculty and pianists from such countries as: France, Morocco, Spain, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Brazil, under the presidency of eminent French professor: Dominique Merlet.

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski was an artistic director and president of international jury at I Krystian Tkaczewski International Piano Competition in Busko-Zdroj, July 26-29. It is first edition of piano competition dedicated to the person of famous pianist, professor, and philanthropist Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski. The competition consisted of of four age categories, up 13, 16, 19 and professional no age limit category. International Jury will include famous pianists and professors: Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski, President, Taeko Oba, Japan, Artur Jaron, Poland and Toshiki Usui, Japan.The competition turned out to be a great success with participation of 43 pianists from 16 countires. Among winners were: Tetiana Shafran, Ukraine, Vasyl Kotys, Ukraine, Rina Sudo, Japan, Svetlana Andreeva, Russia, Mayuki Miyashita, Japan, Michal Oleszak, Poland, Maria Moliszewska, Poland and Momoka Chiba, Japan.
XXII International Chopin Festival “Lato z Chopinem” in Busko-Zdroj

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski took part in XXII International Chopin Festival “Lato z Chopinem” in Busko-Zdroj, July 13-22, 2016. He was again an Artistic Director. Moreover, He has performed on July 18 at the concert hall of Sanatorium Marconi. He has also conducted an international masterclass during festival for winners of prestigious piano competitions from: Japan, Poland, USA, Germany, Belarus, Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong. In this year we had such artists among others as: Mao Fujita, Sarah Tuan, Yuliya Yermalayeva, Momoka Chiba, Shio Okui, Mayuki Miyashita and Park Jae Hong. In the second week our guest professor was Stephan Moeller from Vienna.
International Festival and Masterclass in Castle Kurozweki

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski was a lecturer at International Festival and Masterclass in Castle Kurozweki, July 3-10 (and also second session July 30-August 5). There were pianists from such countries as: USA, Japan, China, Germany, including awarded pianists: Jiuming Shen, Gabrielle Hsu and German prodigy Laetitia Hahn. Additionally Dr. Tkaczewski performed an inaugural concert, which was a part of Chopin Festival in Kurozweki. He was hosting other festival concerts on July 10, 31 and August 5. In second session maestro Tkaczewski was joined by eminent Japanese pianist Taeko Oba.

Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski had his Singapore tour in June 2016 (5-11). He presented the recital and masterclass for MW Events Management. He has also presented the masterclass for Tanglewood Music School on June 10 and was a judge of the final round of prestigious Steinway Youth Piano Competition in Singapore on June 11, 2016.
