After the success of Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, CT, we decided to create another piano competition, this time dedicated to the person of Ignacy Jan Paderewski.  The competition will take place at  gorgeous  St. James Evangelical Church in Farmington on May 5-7, 2017.  Maestro   Paderewski was not  only a wonderful pianist but also  Polish-American patriot, prime minister of Poland and privately great friend of  US President Woodrow Wilson. Thanks to his political engagement, Poland resuscitated its lost independence after World War I. He belonged to the world's most eminent pianists. His arrivals  after world concert tours to Paso Robles, CA, where he resided were real festivities with all city inhibitants walking in procession to meet him.I believe, International Paderewski Piano Competition  will gain your attention. The most interesting pianists will   be discovered and recommended to our international partners around the world. The event was created, founded by Dr. Krystian Tkaczewski who is also its artistic director and president of jury. Other judges will be Nina Drath, Poland/USA and Michael Bulychev-Okser, USA/Estonia
